Sika Rugasol C Surface Retarder 10L

Sika® Rugasol C is a liquid surface retarder designed for horizontal construction joints and concrete surfaces, particularly in cooler or low-retardation conditions. It is ideal for creating exposed aggregate finishes or achieving a mechanical key on fresh concrete, providing excellent bonding for subsequent layers of concrete, screed, or render. Easy to apply and cost-effective, it eliminates the need for aggressive mechanical preparation.

Features + Benefits:

Efficient Surface Preparation: Forms a clean, roughened surface without sandblasting, hacking, or bush hammering.
Exposed Aggregate Finish: Delivers attractive, slip-resistant finishes ideal for decorative and functional applications.
Strong Bonding Key: Ensures excellent adhesion for kicker joints, screeds, and renderings.
Versatile Application: Works well with a range of natural aggregates and in variable temperature conditions.
Full Concrete Strength: Concrete beneath the retarded layer cures to its full strength after surface treatment.

Product Uses:

Recommended for horizontal concrete surfaces including floor slabs, driveways, patios, swimming pools, and footpaths. Suitable for preparing kicker joints and other horizontal applications where mechanical bonding is required.
